Job Description:
Labcorp is seeking a Trainee Necropsy Scientist to join our team based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. In this role, you will primarily work in our Necropsy department and be responsible for various tasks including routine macroscopic necropsy techniques, organ trimming, fetal examinations, tissue freezing, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Performing necropsy techniques for all species
- Trimming and retaining organs
- Conducting caesarean necropsy and fetal examinations
- Handling animal euthanasia procedures
- Preparing reagents and samples
- Other related tasks as required
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a biology-related subject
- Experience in anatomy and dissection preferred
- Interest in science
