Role Mission
This position will report to the Group Manager of Product Innovation and Technical Research. The Assistant Scientist role enables Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) R&D teams to provide timely samples, testing, and business commitments for various aspects of product and process development, innovation, stability testing, and analysis.

Role Responsibilities
- Execute experimental tasks under guidance from researchers.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and communicate progress.
- Provide accurate data and support laboratory activities.
- Conduct sensory training sessions and plan experiments.
- Ensure lab cleanliness and proper waste disposal.
Qualifications
- B.S. Food Science or related field required, M.S. preferred.
- Experience in food and beverage industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in experiment planning, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
- Desire to promote inclusivity and diversity within the organization.
- Physically fit for lab environment and occasional travel requirements.
- Ability to taste alcoholic beverages as needed for research purposes.
