What You Can Expect
Responsibilities are to plan, design and conduct research and/or process improvement projects pertaining to microbiological control and sterilization of Zimmer Biomet orthopedic implant products.
How You’ll Create Impact
- Protocol preparation, data analysis and preparation of final reports.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct quality assurance activities such as, sterilization shipment review, vendor sterilization certification review and vendor auditing.
- Assist the management of the Microbiological Services and Environmental Services Laboratories.
- Prepare and conduct training sessions for Microbiology Lab Technicians and manufacturing clean room personnel.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Possess sound understanding of industrial guidelines and accepted methods of sterilization.
- Strong oral and written communications skills are required.
- Strong working knowledge of current QSR, ISO and AAMI Standards and guidelines.
Your Background
Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or Biology (Master’s Degree is preferred)
Work Experience: Minimum of five years work experience as an industrial Microbiologist, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Up to 10%
