Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior QC Microbiologist to join the team at Oxford Biomedica. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for oversight and performance of environmental monitoring within the manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of microbiologists.
- Plan, organize and perform testing of raw materials and products.
- Maintenance of microbiological test data.
- Write and review SOP’s/protocols/reports.
- Ensure quality documentation is raised and expedited to timelines.
- Responsible for performing root cause analysis.
- Communicate with relevant departments for corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Microbiology or Life Science.
- Good knowledge of cGMP requirements.
- Thorough understanding of GMP and cleanroom biocontamination control.
- Relevant experience in microbiology laboratory.
- Flexibility to work shifts during specified hours.
