Job Title: Virology Scientist

Eligibility Criteria for Virology Scientist job:Â
- A Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or comparable experience
- Experience in working with cell culture and replication-competent assays, including assay validation for GMP testing industry
- Experience in culture and quantitation of viruses
- Good working knowledge of molecular biology is essential
- Knowledge of current regulations for biologics, viral vaccine and cell and gene therapy product testing is desirable
- Virology Scientist should have Practical knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedure
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Highly organised and capable of working independently

About the position Sartorius Virology Scientist:
- Responsible for the scientific and technical accuracy of the lab work as well as data analysis and reporting results
- Supporting the team to meet key deliverables, e.g. generation of data, provision of
- supporting documentation for the methods developed and identification and assessment of new technologies
- Working collaboratively to deliver projects including delivery of methods on time, within specification and budget
- Effectively delivering robust new methods by employing excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working with the Operational Excellence team to confidently challenge and improve existing systems and processes
- Developing and maintaining effective communications and working relationships with internal and external clients
