Compensation Range: $19.96 – $27.94 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Animal colony management for mouse colonies
• Genotyping of transgenic mice by PCR
• Performing routine biochemical and molecular biological experiments
• Lab maintenance tasks including preparing basic buffers and stock solutions
• Orienting and overseeing compliance of new lab workers
• Ordering specialized materials and supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in appropriate discipline (preferably Biology) required
• 2-3 years specialized experience in related field required
• Previous work experience in a research lab preferred
