The Opportunity
You will be joining a team of passionate scientists and engineers within the Research and Early Development chapter area in the broader Roche Diagnostic organization to drive the discovery and development of innovative solutions that have real impact on people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Designs, plans and executes experiments utilizing established and innovative procedures
- Contributes to the definition and timely achievement of overall project goals
- Ensures activities are consistent with project critical path
- Integrates previous and current results to determine next experimental steps
- Presents findings at group or departmental meetings
- Applies advanced technical writing skills to produce reports and documents
Who You Are
- Ph.D./Master’s/Bachelor’s in life sciences, chemical sciences, or related scientific field with 0/5/7+ years relevant industry experience
- Experience with rapid and high-throughput assay development and screening
- Proficiency with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, molecular cloning, and protein purification
- Familiarity with CRISPR technology is preferred
- Good work ethics with a ‘can-do’ mentality and aptitude for approaching challenging questions with attention to details and independent, critical thinking

Expected Salary Range: $75,600 – $140,400
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
