Product Manager Job Openings, We are looking for a Global Product Manager for UNICORN software to work with Johan Svensson and his team. As a product manager, you are accountable for the designated areas of the software and to ensure they meet customer expectations on functionality and quality while meeting the business expectations for the company. The Product Management function is a bridging channel between the commercial and back office functions (e.g. SW R&D, service, and marketing) and the owner of the overall business franchise. As such it drives the strategy deployment of all stakeholder functions.
What You’ll Do
- Product management of UNICORN software. You will be part of a highly competent and engaged team of product managers located globally.
- Represent the “voice of the customer” for your products inside Cytiva, making sure quality and customer needs are reflected in the product lifecycle strategy.
- Develop and drive the product life cycle strategy for your portfolio, including pricing, margin optimization, and recommendations for development to keep the portfolio vital, profitable, and competitive.
- Through close collaboration with customers and commercial teams ensure UNICORN stays competitive.
- Work collaboratively with software/automation/digital teams across all Cytiva OpCo’s and ensure we stay in the forefront of instrument control software.
- Support the commercial organization with product training, marketing material, and sales tools.
- Business owner for new product introductions and product retirement within your product segment.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Experience in a Life Sciences business and in academic research
- Work experience in product management, product marketing, sales, or product development, preferably with a focus on software
- Good understanding of protein research and the customer needs in this market
- Team-oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to work globally
- Customer-focused mindset and strong personal drive
- Valid Swedish working permit
