Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Entry QC of samples
- Construct libraries and sequence on current instrumentation
- Carry out pilot projects to support commercial goals
- Support collaborations with strategic partners
- Perform experiments to aid technical field teams
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians for data analysis
- Generate reports for internal and external presentations
- Participate in beta tests and provide feedback
- Maintain lab operations with latest equipment
Personal Skills:
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable engaging with customers and teams
- Strong team player in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional judgment and integrity
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Technical Skills:
- M.S. or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field (appropriate experience carrying out molecular biology/biochemistry experiments at the Senior Research Associate level may qualify).
- Experience with DNA sequencing and high throughput instruments
- Technical proficiency in general lab practices and biochemistry
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Good understanding of genomics and molecular technologies
