About the job:
The Opportunity:
Laboratory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving, storage, and distribution of laboratory supplies and inventory items
- Maintains an efficient system of inventory control
- Manages cell line inventory and shipping requests
- Assists in proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Compound Management Responsibilities:
- Ensures clear labeling and appropriate storage conditions for all samples
- Assists in providing samples to collaborating groups
- Accurately logs samples into the laboratory system
About you:
- Associate’s degree with 1+ year of laboratory experience (preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting; academic experience also considered). A BS/BA degree in physical or life sciences is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to follow specific instructions and written protocols
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and within a team, identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision
- Maintain precise records, adhere to safety protocols, and meet deadlines effectively
