Job Posting: Research Assistant, Emerging Infectious Diseases

Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of research activities within the EID Programme, including but not limited to:
- Performing research project tasks and providing overall support
- Assisting in laboratory assay development, data analysis, and manuscript drafting
- Coordinating administrative paperwork and maintaining laboratory needs
- Conducting ongoing research projects and related duties
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, or related fields
- 2-3 years of research laboratory experience with biological agents and field samples
- Proficiency in nucleic acid extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, NGS, and serological assays
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
