Job Scope
Your job consists of providing technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, following procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment maintenance in line with quality and health and safety requirements
- Monitor consumable and reagent stocks
- Support lab activities including RNA/DNA extractions and PCR/RT-PCR
- Plan and report activities with the team
- Communicate with other departments
- Organize shipment of reagents to other sites
- Carry out stability testing of raw material
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Third Level Degree in a relevant Scientific discipline
- Specialization in Biology and Biotechnology preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience in scientific laboratories
- Knowledge of good molecular laboratory practice
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Seasoned experience using Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel
