The Role:

We are seeking a scientist for the Next Generation Therapeutics group. This individual will work as part of a collaborative group of protein engineers, immunologists, molecular biologists, and protein biochemists to discover and develop mRNA therapeutics in the therapeutic areas such as oncology and immunology.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Discovery of novel therapeutic antibodies using in house antibody selection technologies.
- Design of therapeutic bispecific molecules, surface-expressed proteins and antibodies for expression in mammalian cell culture.
- Select and optimize key parameters for therapeutic molecules such as affinity, in vivo expression levels, stability, design to optimize PK and minimize immunogenicity.
- Moderna PhD Job Serve as a technical expert in molecular engineering within the organization and provide support to multiple projects.
- Learn to use formulated mRNA to express molecules in vitro and in Vivo.
- Critically evaluate results and derive conclusions from experiments. Present the results and conclusions in cross-functional project teams and propose future experimental focus.
- Moderna PhD Job Maintain accountability for project success and delivery of results.
- Identify, manage and contribute to external collaborations relevant to therapeutic candidates.
- Contribute to scientific and strategy discussions to advance and enhance the scientific platform and product candidates.
- Communicate research and development findings both internally and externally

Moderna PhD Job
- PhD in structural biology, protein biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field.
2+ years of experience in the field of antibody discovery and protein engineering.
Strong written and oral communication skills, comfort with senior management interactions. - Moderna PhD Job Ability to propose and implement experimental lab work.
