Job Posting: Scientist I, DMPK
Location: South San Francisco, CA
The Position:
The Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team at Maze Therapeutics is looking for a Scientist I to join their team. This lab-based role involves utilizing expertise in LC-MS/MS and/or LC-HRMS to measure concentrations of small molecules, analyze PK data, and support drug discovery efforts. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and thrive in a hands-on laboratory environment.
Your Impact:
- Prepare and process samples for PK and biomarker analyses.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage study schedules and sample acquisition.
- Analyze analyte concentrations using LC-MS and troubleshoot methods.
- Calculate PK parameters and generate detailed reports.
- Review and QC PK data and reports.
- Support regulatory submissions and maintain organized records.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in chemistry or biological sciences with relevant years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with analytical equipment.
- Proficiency in processing and analyzing LC-MS data.
- Strong skills in Excel, GraphPad Prism, and scientific writing.
- Detail-oriented with excellent laboratory practices.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Proficiency with Certara Phoenix WinNonLin.
- Experience in regulated laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with Mosaic.
