Responsibilities
- Design and execute lab-based experiments using biochemistry and molecular biology skills
- Contribute to developing innovative single-cell multiomics assays
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Operate Illumina sequencing instruments
- Communicate experimental results effectively
- Maintain detailed experimental records
Requirements
- BSc in a relevant field such as biology, biochemistry, or equivalent
- 1-2 years of research experience in a biochemical laboratory or equivalent
- Experience in biotech R&D environment is desirable
- Experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation is a plus
Compensation
The estimated base salary range for the Scientist, Assay R&D role in the US is $61,700 – $92,500. Additional benefits include variable cash programs, equity options, genomics sequencing access, family planning, and more.
