Job Description
Lilly is currently in the process of setting up a cutting-edge Parenteral, Device, and Packaging Assembly Facility in Concord, North Carolina. This presents a unique opportunity to be part of establishing a state-of-the-art facility and Quality System from scratch. The Quality Control Laboratory plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our drug and device products through stringent product testing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely testing of routine and non-routine lab samples
- Recording data in reports or LIMS
- Identifying and communicating improvement opportunities
- Troubleshooting equipment and methods
- Supporting lean lab and 5S initiatives
- Providing technical support for investigations
- Maintaining inventory of supplies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology
- Relevant experience in a GMP microbiology lab
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Additional Preferences:
- Experience with LIMS and MODA
- Familiarity with various microbiology testing techniques
- Understanding of statistical tools and analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with lean lab, 5S concept, and Root Cause Analysis
