The Stanford Division of Pediatric Cardiology is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to join the team. The successful candidate will be involved in research projects within the laboratory of Dr. William Goodyer, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to study the cardiac conduction system and its implications for heart rhythm disorders.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct experiments in support of research projects
- Maintain detailed records of experiments and outcomes
- Interpret and analyze experiment results, offering suggestions for protocol modifications
- Stay current with scientific literature and apply new learnings to research
- Contribute to the publication of findings and assist with document preparation
- Assist with lab maintenance, stock management, and general lab support
- Provide training and orientation to new staff or students
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
