Job Title: Laboratory Microbiologist II
Location: Arden Hills, US-MN, United States
Job Description:
The Laboratory Microbiologist II assists with the implementation of new test methods, equipment qualifications, and the development of non-routine testing protocols in the microbiology lab at Boston Scientific.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Ethylene Oxide residual testing via Gas Chromatography.
- Collaboration with subject matter experts for sample extraction protocols.
- Execution of manual and automated cleaning validations.
- Conduct product disinfection validations and sterilization validations.
- Perform equipment maintenance, data approvals, and lab support activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- Ability to physically manipulate medical devices in a controlled manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in microbiology and regulated laboratories.
- Previous experience in Bacterial Endotoxin testing, Bio Product Bioburden testing, or Gas Chromatography.
