POSITION COMPLEXITIES AND IMPACT:

The lab coordinator must deal with 2 different sets of faculty and TAs and be able to focus on future and current needs simultaneously. Due to the interactive nature of this position with faculty and TA’s and students, this position is expected to be on campus 5 days per week.

- Prepare and supervise TAs; present content & technical aspects of each exercise in weekly TA meetings and, with lecturing faculty, discuss teaching issues with TAs; oversee and participate in course grading (15%)
- Coordinate training and preparation of TAs for lab sections each quarter (5%)
