Summary of the Job
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Johnson & Johnson will be responsible for developing regulatory strategies and ensuring compliance with government standards for new and modified products globally. This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing regulatory submissions, and providing guidance on regulatory requirements throughout product development.
Duties & Responsibilities
– Implement compliance with regulations for product development and distribution
– Analyze scientific data to assess risks and develop regulatory strategies
– Contribute to cross-functional project teams to ensure timely market introductions
– Advise product development teams on regulatory requirements
– Prepare regulatory submissions for product approvals and registrations
Main Performance Measures (Performance Goals)
– Attend meetings with Health Authorities representatives
– Compile technical information for product registration
– Prepare registration files for franchises and business units
– Fulfill MOH requirements for submitted files
– Monitor and renew certificates as necessary
– Prepare required certificates for distributors or sales
Qualifications
Experience Required
– Bachelor’s degree in a life-sciences-related field (Pharmacy, Science, Veterinary Medicine)
– 3-4 years of experience in regulatory affairs in a multinational Medical Devices company
– Experience dealing with Healthcare Authorities
– Proficiency in Arabic and English
