Job Description – Scientist Biotherapeutics (2406181543W)
Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist Biotherapeutics to join our Therapeutics Development & Supply (TDS) team in Ringaskiddy, Cork. The successful candidate will play a key role in Downstream Process Development and New Product Introduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead/support Clinical / Process Validation for New Product Introduction activities
- Develop control strategy at laboratory scale for molecule or unit operation
- Design and execute experimental plans to support product/process improvements
- Provide guidance for process development and manufacturing teams
- Support manufacturing investigations and Health Authority Inspections
- Participate in cross-functional project teams
Qualifications:
- PhD or MSc in Biology, Pharmacy, or similar field
- 6+ years of industrial experience in biologics or pharma industry
- Strong technical writing skills and scientific data analysis
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Advanced problem-solving skills and adaptability to changes
Experience and Skills:
Required: Excellent communication skills, self-driven, adaptability, problem-solving. Preferred: Fluent in English, occasional travel required.
