Innovation Cup 2024 – Great minds come together
The Innovation Cup, now in its fourteenth year, serves as a platform for creative and innovative discussions in the fields of life sciences, material sciences, data sciences, and business administration. This is a unique opportunity for post-graduate students to gain in-depth knowledge about pharmaceutical and chemical research and development, network with top students from around the world, and collaborate with experienced professionals to develop a business case.
What’s in it for me?
If you are a post-graduate student with an interest in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, the Innovation Cup provides you with the chance to participate in the innovation summer camp near Frankfurt, Germany from July 16-20, 2024. By joining Team Oncology, you will have the opportunity to work on new and innovative approaches for the targeted treatment of cancer. The winning team will be awarded the Innovation Cup along with a cash prize of EUR 20,000. The runner-up team will receive EUR 5,000. All travel, accommodation, and food expenses will be fully covered by the company.
Who can apply?
We invite advanced students in life sciences, chemistry, physics, computer sciences, and business administration from all over the world to apply for participation in the Innovation Cup. The cup is open to postgraduate students pursuing a PhD or a Post Doc in relevant fields, as well as advanced MBA students or recent MBA graduates. However, please note that the cup is not open to U.S. healthcare professionals.
How it works:- Innovation Cup 2024
During a one-week Summer Camp, 35 selected postgraduate students will have the opportunity to attend in-depth presentations about the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, delivered by our management, scientists, and external experts. Additionally, participants will work in small teams to generate innovative ideas that address scientific challenges and develop these ideas into business plans. Teams will receive coaching and guidance from experienced professionals within our company, as well as from the Summer Camp moderator and our Innovation Management. You will gain insights into the essential aspects of research and development within the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, and learn how successful products are discovered, developed, and brought to market. Moreover, you will also acquire the skills to evaluate ideas from both technical and business perspectives, ultimately building a convincing business plan.
