Job Description
The inflammation biology group at Gilead is currently looking for a talented and motivated Research Scientist to contribute to cutting-edge discovery and translational research in immunology and autoimmune diseases. The successful candidate will conduct bench-top research to understand disease pathogenesis and validate therapeutic hypotheses using in vitro and in vivo systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive discovery and translational research for inflammatory diseases
- Design and conduct experiments to support target validation
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance understanding of disease mechanisms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various groups
- Present research findings to senior staff and contribute to publications and patent filings
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
Required:
- PhD in Immunology with postdoctoral research experience
- Expertise in immunology, T cell immunity, and autoimmune disease pathogenesis
- Proven record of research productivity with publications in top-tier journals
- Proficiency in immunological techniques and experience with animal models
The salary range for this position is $143,225.00 – $185,350.00. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
