As an Associate Scientist, you will be part of the Molecular Biology group focused on Viral Vaccines. You will play a crucial role in generating and characterizing vaccine and monoclonal antibody candidates, while also contributing to the advancement of high-throughput techniques and technologies in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in DNA cloning, in-vitro RNA transcription, and cell-based assay characterization
- Contribution to high-throughput workflows for molecular biology and cell biology processes
- Engagement in experimental planning and data analysis
- Collaboration with key scientific stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, Virology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- MS with 1+ years of experience, or BS with 3+ years of experience
- Experience with cell culture, cell-based assays, and molecular biology techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of handling RNA and in vitro transcription reactions
- Experience in cell-based assays for Lipid Nanoparticle formulated RNA evaluation
- Familiarity with molecular biology software such as Geneious
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to spend 2-6 months in Rockville, MD, to facilitate knowledge transfer to the new laboratories in Cambridge, MA.
