Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant at Universiti Malaya in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, utilizing laboratory skills, and communicating findings. The role involves collaborating with faculty members and supporting various research projects.
Qualifications
- Only for local candidate / Malaysian
- Strong Analytical Skills, Data Analysis, and Research abilities (in Molecular Biology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics)
- Ready to enroll as Master students in March 2025
- Stipend will be provided under national grant (FRGS)
- Applicable to apply for tuition fee waiver
- Effective Communication skills
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills
- Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping
- Experience with academic research methodologies
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Genetics, Biotechnology or Plant sciences)
- Previous experience in a research environment is a plus
