The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Research Associate with expertise in automated protein purification and characterization. The selected candidate will work in the Protein Science & Technologies (PST) team within the Antibody Discovery Technologies department at Genmab. This team is dedicated to providing cutting-edge technologies and expertise to enhance the Discovery and Research operations of the organization, focusing specifically on antibody production, purification, and biochemical characterization.
Responsibilities
- Support technological innovation projects with your expertise in protein separation.
- Implement new technologies and develop workflows for high-throughput antibody purification and analysis.
- Utilize your knowledge of protein separation techniques, biochemistry, HPLC/UPLC, and mass spectrometry.
- Optimize processes through design of experiments (DoE) approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver state-of-the-art technologies.
- Document results and present findings through electronic notebooks, presentations, and reports.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biochemistry or equivalent with relevant work experience.
- Experience in high-throughput purification and analysis, laboratory robotics, and data analysis processes.
- Knowledge of protein separation techniques, automation workflows, and data analysis.
- Experience in setting up process flows for automated protein analysis is preferred.
