Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our team and drive research in the field of arthropod chemical ecology. The ideal candidate will utilize molecular and electrophysiological tools, focusing on insect behavior modulation through innovative approaches.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize novel approaches to manipulate insect behavior using your expertise in arthropod chemosensation.
- Independently design and conduct assays, analyze data, and communicate results effectively.
- Present findings at department meetings and scientific conferences, and prepare manuscripts for publications.
- Maintain awareness of relevant knowledge and technologies.

You Bring:
- A PhD in Biology or related field with 2+ or 5+ years of experience in academic or industry R&D laboratories, respectively.
- Broad knowledge of neurobiology, with hands-on experience on arthropods, ideally mosquitoes.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive scientific outcomes.
- Expertise in molecular biology, Next-Generation Sequencing, and ion-channel assays.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and networking skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
