Position Summary: BS Biomedical Science Jobs
- We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join our Neurology-Move Disorder Division.
- In this role, you will conduct independent basic science experimentation in the assigned laboratory, focusing on Parkinson’s disease research under the mentorship of a senior scientist in the Un Kang Lab.
- This position offers a chance to build a strong research portfolio in preparation for further academic pursuits in biomedical research or medicine.
Job Responsibilities:
- Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental design, technique, and performance
- Generate hypotheses and design experiments to test them
- Independently execute multiple experiments and record findings in a laboratory notebook
- Analyze and interpret experimental data and suggest modifications to protocols
- Prepare figures and diagrams for presentations and publications
- Collaborate with other professionals in the lab and communicate research findings
- Contribute to article preparation and submission for publication
- Participate in the editing and proofing of grant proposals and manuscripts
Minimum Qualifications: BS Biomedical Science Jobs
- College graduate with a B.S. or B.A. in Biomedical or Physical Sciences
- Minimum commitment of two years in the position, not exceeding three years

- Comfortable working with laboratory animals
- Familiarity with benchwork in a basic science laboratory
