About the job
We are seeking a talented and passionate (Junior) Bioinformatician with a focus on single cell immune profiling data analysis or transcriptomics data analysis to join our dynamic team at Gene Solutions. What you will do:
- Develop and operate biological data analysis pipelines
- Conduct literature review and contribute to scientific communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide technical support for researchers
What you should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree or an upcoming Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields (a combination of a company internship and Bachelor’s thesis is also possible);
- knowledge of CellRanger, R (Seurat, Bioconductor, Monocle3), and/or Python (Scanpy) in a Unix/Linux environment;
- basic knowledge of cellular and molecular biology, immunology, and genetics;
- and curiosity, honesty, critical thinking, time management skills, independant thinking, a problem-solving mindset, and teamwork skills.
Great if you have:
- Proficiency in writing clean and well-tested code
- Research experience
- Knowledge of machine learning and/or deep learning
- Experience in building analysis pipelines and using HPC systems
