Your Role
At MilliporeSigma, the Associate Quality Scientist will perform Quality Control activities in support of custom and catalog materials, including routine testing and data review. The position will report to a QC supervisor. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations
- Demonstrate proper laboratory safety practices
- Perform testing of enzyme products in accordance with quality requirements
- Clean-up equipment and working areas according to quality standards
- Deliver accurate and complete data, following Data Integrity principles
- Contribute to lab support functions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related Life Science discipline
- OR Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or other life science discipline with 3+ years of relevant lab experience
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient in Laboratory Math
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- General understanding of analytical techniques and instrumentation associated with enzymatic assays
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
