Join Lonza AG as a Quality Control Analyst- Microbiology in Houston, TX, and become a part of our elite team dedicated to life sciences innovation. This role supports the Quality Control, Microbiology Safety Team, conducting vital tests to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bioburden, microbial enumeration, endotoxin, and sterility testing
- Perform USP <61>, USP <71>, USP <63>, and USP <85> assays
- Complete growth promotion testing on liquid and agar media
- Apply the WinKQCL platform for BET (endotoxin) testing
- Supervise rapid sterility testing using the BacT/Alert platform
- Conduct microbial identification using ViTek software
Key Requirements:
- Associate degree in Life Science or equivalent experience required
- Confirmed knowledge in Quality Control Microbiology and cGMP environments
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Bioburden, Growth Promotion, Endotoxin testing, or Sterility Testing is a plus
