Are you the person with knowledge and experience in virology methods, laboratory operations and laboratory quality systems? Then you could be our new Research Scientist, ensuring worldwide supply of our vaccines to the growing salmon aquaculture industry.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Research Scientist to temporarily join our team in our Aqua Research and Development Division, located in Bergen, Norway. We are offering a fixed-term contract until November 2025.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct and document trials and laboratory analyses
- Participate in general laboratory operations and staff training
- Contribute to project discussions within R&D
- Perform tests and provide raw data to the requester
- Support the development of in vitro assays
What You Must Have:
- University degree in a relevant field
- 2 years of experience in virology and related techniques
- Experience with in vivo animal/fish studies is a plus
- Fluency in Norwegian and English
