Job Posting: R&D Intern – Fermentation
Location: Wageningen, Netherlands
Start Date: September 2024 (6 months)
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and agile R&D intern to join our Fermentation team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a significant part in shaping the future of plant-based products through fermentation technology.
In the Fermentation team, your responsibilities will include identifying the best culture – protein combination for fermentation, screening cultures from different suppliers, monitoring pH reduction speed, flavor and texture profiling, and implementing findings in cream cheese and cheese development.
What Does It Take to Be Successful in This Role?
- You are pursuing a study in food Biotechnology at a university in the Netherlands.
- You have a specialization in fermentation, fresh dairy, and dairy alternatives.
