Job Description
- Contribute to solutions driving automated analysis of human genetic variation obtained by high-throughput sequencing.
- Develop algorithms and applications for inferring biological knowledge from millions of short reads.
- Optimize and validate application software.
- Contribute to the development and validation of cutting-edge targeted sequencing assays for Oncology.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in genomics.
Key Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics, or related field with 1 year of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
- Expertise in genetics, DNA sequencing algorithms, genomic applications, and software development.
- Hands-on experience with DNA sequencing technologies and programming languages like Python or Java.
- Proven ability in building statistical models in biological systems.
- Previous involvement in developing production software and preparing scientific patent applications.
